Player Engagement Surveys - From SPG - For GMs to make better decisions

SPG should be collecting data from players to share with GMs so they can better understand what types and styles of players exist on the platform and be able to better engage with them in getting them to sign up for and play games.

There should be a survey that’s sent out by SPG whenever a player signs up for a paid game that asks them a pick one question like the following

1) From the following list, select your number one consideration when picking this game:
System
Time
Session Length
Setting
Theme
Price
etc.

Then the second question should be along the lines of
2) “Which of these things did you consider when picking this game?
Then list all the options from question one and allow the player to check any/all of them.

Later you can use that to create a new survey when people sign up that is 5 questions long and asks them to rank the top 5 considerations you’d found via the last survey on a likert scale of 1-7 with 1 being not important at all and 7 being very important.

E.g. (You find that the 5 things listed are the most listed as a players top consideration or appear selected most often in the second question from the above survey)
On a scale of 1-7 with 1 being not important at all and 7 being very important. Please rate the following in terms of importance in you picking this game
1) System being played
2) Theme
3) GM Reviews
4) Module offered
5) Price
